William Pfaltz is an accomplished holistic health and wellness counselor and skilled biofeedback practitioner. He works with a non-cognitive biofeedback computer called the Bodyscan 2010™, which combines acupressure, EAV , homeopathy, bioenergetics, bionetics, flower essences, nutrition, spirituality and much more. Energy pathways in your body are measured, identifying imbalances that may have been stored there for decades. Blocked energies often manifest themselves as: allergies, eczema, headaches, fatigue, tiredness, depression, pain, arthritis, inflammation, irritation, cancer and several other forms and states of stress, diseases or illness.
What is Biofeedback?
According to Reference.com the definition of biofeedback is a method for learning to increase one's ability to control biological responses, such as blood pressure, muscle tension, and heart rate. And Dictionary.com describes biofeedback as the technique of using monitoring devices to furnish information regarding an autonomic bodily function, such as heart rate, muscle tension or blood pressure, in an attempt to gain some voluntary control over that function. Aswell as: “The technique of making unconscious or involuntary bodily processes (as heartbeat or brain waves) perceptible to the senses (as by the use of an oscilloscope) in order to manipulate them by conscious mental control.” Now, these explanations describe cognitive biofeedback, where you think yourself into a certain physiological state.
What is BodyScan Testing?
BodyScan testing derives its origin from acupuncture and homeopathy, utilizing advanced biofeedback technology and the principles of Chinese and vibrational medicine. The science behind this technology is called Bionetics.
Although fairly new to the United States, bionetics has been used for decades with tremendous success in England and other parts of Western and Eastern Europe.
The BodyScan 2010™ is a vibrational healing machine and was developed by a German physician, Dr. Reinhold Voll and utilizes electro-dermal screening (EDS) or EAV, which means Electro-acupressure according to Voll.
What does a biofeedback session look like?
The actual eav computer scanning lasts about 15-20 minutes and is absolutely pain-free and non-invasive. You will remain fully clothed (minus jewelry, cell phones, and pagers) and seated in a comfortable chair. Your body will be scanned for multiphase responses to various stressors such as chemicals, bacteria, foods, pollutants and viruses. The results of the scan will appear on the computer screen and actually become the database for the second phase of the biofeedback testing.
The second phase of testing with the BodyScan 2010™ lasts approximately 90 minutes.
You will be able to view an energetic inventory of different organs and tissues within your own body. Our practitioner will show you which of your organs are demanding the greatest amount of energy. You will also receive immediate feedback regarding imbalances in your digestive, immune, endocrine and lymphatic systems.
Further exploration will be necessary and you will be asked to hold a small brass tube in one hand while receiving acupoint or acupressure point testing with a probe on the other hand. Each finger houses two or more acupoints, which correlate to various energy pathways, or meridians, throughout the body. As an example, when testing for lung energy, the probe is applied to the lung meridian located on the inside of the thumb.
By probing various finger acupoints, the practitioner will be able to determine where you have sluggish or blocked energy levels. As phase two of your testing progresses, the biofeedback machine or eav device continuously calculates the proper strength of energetic remedies necessary to balance the various stressors, which were identified during the actual eav scanning in phase one.
